ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
No Previous experience
necessary. This course will cover the basics of sea kayaking and allow the
participants to enjoy the sport and the Newfoundland waters in a safe
manner. The following itinerary will be covered:

SCHEDULE:
Day 1: Meet and ready to
go by 9:00 a.m. at Topsail Pond.
Day 2: Coastal paddling instruction -
Marine Drive.
Day 3: Trip to Witless Bay Bird Sanctuary.
FOOD AND ACCOMMODATIONS:
The responsibility of the participants. You will be required to bring
your own packed lunch each day.
TRANSPORTATION:
Some local transportation can be provided if arrangements are made in
advance.
EQUIPMENT:
Kayak, spraydeck and paddle will be provided.
In addition, each student must have an
adequate PFD and proper clothing, including a wetsuit or dry suit.
